Today www.mdpetitions.com will turn in over 40,000 signatures to stop taxpayer funded college benefits for ILLEGAL immigrants by placing a recently passed law on the 2012 Presidential ballot.  This means we are well on our way to allow Maryland voters to decide the outcome of this law, not politicians who are pandering to this special interest group of illegal immigrants.

MDPetitions.com needs to have 18,579 valid signatures turned in as of this evening in order to continue with the petition drive.  In an effort to reach that goal, MDPetitions.com had set an internal goal of 35,000 signatures, which we exceeded, realizing that in past petition drives many signatures are not accepted.  Provided enough signatures are validated from the May 31st delivery, the remainder of the signatures are due by the end of June where 55,736 valid signatures are needed.

It is important to send a strong message to politicians that they must listen to their voters.  You can help send this message and we need your support to reach the final goal that is due by the end of June.
